2026 AMA Interim Poster Showcase
The 2026 AMA Interim Poster Showcase will take place on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026. This AMA member-exclusive opportunity provides medical students, residents and IMGs a platform to showcase their research, participate in our interactive directory, and compete for our Best in Show awards!
The AMA Poster Showcase hosted in conjunction with the AMA Career Resources event taking place in Atlantic Hall C of the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin in Orlando.
2026 AMA Interim Meeting attendees can enjoy complimentary professional headshots and a networking reception, plus:
- AMA Poster Showcase (3-5 p.m.): View research from over 400 medical students and residents, and cast your vote for Best-in-Show.
- AMA Clinical Skills Workshop (2:30-5:30 p.m.): Strengthen your clinical skills through hands-on training and receive guidance from experienced physician facilitators.

Key dates & requirements
- 2026 AMA Interim Poster Showcase: Friday, Nov. 6, 2926
- Presenter Check-in 1-3 p.m. Eastern
- Showcase and reception: 3 to 5 p.m. Eastern
- Participants must be registered for the 2026 AMA Interim Meeting
- One presenter per poster.
- Maximum poster size: 36"H x 42"W.
- Participants are responsible for printing their own poster.
- Posters that exceed the maximum size will not be allowed to present.
2027 Call for abstracts
The AMA invites medical students, residents and IMGs to submit an abstract for presentation at the AMA Annual Poster Showcase on Friday, June 11, 2027. The poster showcase will be held during the 2027 Annual Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates in Chicago, Illinois.
Deadline is May 6, 2027.
