In a recent webinar, Lorin Scher, MD, and Reshma Gupta, MD, MSHPM from UC Davis Health, detailed how embedding behavioral health clinicians across all 14 UC Davis primary care sites reduced psychiatry wait times from three months to just two to three weeks. Now, more than a third of new behavioral health referrals are managed within primary care.
