In addition to being chair of the Empire State Medical, Scientific and Educational Foundation, he’s a past president and current board member of the Medical Society of the State of New York, representing roughly 20,000 physicians in the area. While leading the organization, Dr. Madejski has taken on critical legislative and clinical initiatives, including calling for caution on legalized marijuana and advocating for appropriate opioid use.

Dr. Madejski received a pharmacy degree from the State University of New York Buffalo School of Pharmacy and medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse. Board-certified in internal medicine, geriatrics and hospice and palliative care medicine, Dr. Madejski holds faculty appointments as a clinical instructor in Pharmacy at the University of Buffalo and Clinical Instructor in Medicine at the University of Rochester.
