AMA statement on precision medicine initiative

| 2 Min Read

"We are pleased to be collaborating with the Administration to advance the Precision Medicine Initiative that will drive innovation in medicine and help improve health outcomes for patients. We are committed to making sure that more physicians are aware of this initiative and the importance of encouraging their patients to participate in research that will inform future treatment of disease in our country. We will also work to improve patient access to their medical information and help physicians use electronic tools that will make health information more readily available, reduce inefficiencies in health care delivery, lower costs and increase quality of care.
