AMA presents government service award to Kaiser Family Foundation

WASHINGTON — The American Medical Association (AMA) presented the Kaiser Family Foundation with the Dr. Nathan Davis Award for Outstanding Government Service. The Foundation was selected for the AMA’s top government service award for its contributions to the national debate on Medicare, Medicaid and health system reform.

Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010, for example, the Foundation has delivered valuable information about each state’s implementation of ACA, including Medicaid expansion and the rollout of exchanges.
