STEPS Forward Pearl of the Week

Listening campaigns offer individual physicians and physician groups a chance to tell leaders about their stressors and suggest improvements.

Engage leaders in this process and emphasize that the sessions aren’t just for venting, but rather a way to solicit and process information about existing problems. During a session, the group is encouraged to share what is going well, and job-related stressors are recorded silently and independently.
