The 2020 AMA Research Symposium hosted virtually from Thursday, Dec. 3 (noon Central) through Sunday, Dec. 6, (noon Central) featured a poster gallery and poster competition with more than 450 posters from medical students, residents and international medical graduates.

Poster topics included public health, COVID-19, basic science, health systems science, medical education and more.

AMA Research Challenge

Wednesday, Jan. 13, 7 p.m. Central

Five top-voted finalists from the symposium were chosen to present their research to a panel of judges and compete to be named the overall winner at the AMA Research Challenge in January!

The finalists are:

  • Aimen Vanood
