Ida Vaziri, MD, serves as sectional delegate for the Resident & Fellow Section and is the resident representative on the Underrepresented in Medicine Advocacy Section (UMAS) Governing Council.
The RFS is a member interest group within the AMA to provide resident and fellow participation in the activities of the AMA and gives a voice to and advocates for issues that impact them.
Dr. Vaziri earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio and her MD at UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine. She is currently a neurology resident at George Washington University.
