Mohammad Ibrahim, DO, a sports medicine specialist and private practice owner, serves as alternate delegate of the Private Practice Physician Section (PPPS) for the 2026-2028 term.
The PPPS is a member interest group within the AMA for physicians in private practice. The section governing council is responsible for directing PPPS efforts to preserve the freedom, independence and integrity of private practice.
Dr. Ibrahim attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He has held roles as chair of the AMA Osteopathic Caucus and alternate delegate to the Michigan State Medical Society. He is currently a quadruple board-certified physician.
