Hillary Johnson-Jahangir, MD, PhD

Hillary Johnson-Jahangir, MD, PhD, a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon specializing in immunology, serves as secretary of the Private Practice Physician Section (PPPS) for the 2026-2028 term.

The PPPS is a member interest group within the AMA for physicians in private practice.  The section governing council is responsible for directing PPPS efforts to preserve the freedom, independence and integrity of private practice.

Dr. Johnson-Jahangir practices at Forefront Dermatology across Iowa and Illinois, with extensive prior leadership and faculty roles at institutions such as Weill Cornell Medical College and the University of Iowa. At the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Johnson-Jahangir contributes to multiple committees and mentorship programs.
