Isabel Nguyen, a medical student at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, serves as at-large officer of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2026-2027 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Nguyen has been a member of the AMA since 2023 serving in various roles including Region 1 chair, CMA Medical Student Section chair, region delegate and a member of several committees.
