Stephen Parodi, MD, is an infectious disease physician and an associate executive director at The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG). Dr. Parodi has been chair of Infectious Diseases, chair of the Northern California Regional Infection Control Committee, and Regional Medical Director of Hospital Operations for TPMG.
The IPPS is a member interest group within the AMA for physician leaders in physician-led integrated systems. The section governing council is responsible for directing the IPPS effort at the national level to demonstrate the value of physician-led, coordinated systems of care.
Dr. Parodi serves as chairman of the Board of the Council of Accountable Physician Practices. He is also a board member on America’s Physician Groups and has been a member of the Very Large Group Practice Forum of the California Medical Association for over ten years.
