Updated physician wellness issue brief supports advocacy campaigns

Advocacy by medical societies and national organizations has led to positive changes on medical licensing and credentialing applications by 37 state medical boards and nearly 650 hospitals. There also now are more than 10 states that have enacted laws to further these changes. An updated issue brief (PDF) from the AMA captures these successes and provides the language used by medical boards, hospitals and legislatures.
