With most 2025 state legislative sessions now concluded, the Advocacy Resource Center has released the Scope of Practice 2025 State Legislative Activity (PDF) report. This resource summarizes major state legislative developments on scope of practice for select non-physician practitioners—including nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, physician assistants, optometrists, pharmacists, psychologists, naturopaths, and podiatrists—through July 31, 2025.

Please reach out to Kim Horvath ([email protected]) or Molly Reese ([email protected]) if you have any questions or would like additional information on specific topics included in the report.
