American Medical Association announces new chief experience officer

The American Medical Association (AMA) today announced the hiring of Todd Unger as its Chief Experience Officer (CXO) and Senior Vice President of Physician Engagement. Unger joins the AMA after serving most recently as Chief Digital Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Daily Racing Form where he led the successful digital transformation of the media and gaming platform.

“With his vast experience in technology, product development, marketing and transforming digital content for top organizations, Todd will be an excellent addition to the AMA team,” said James L. Madara, M.D., AMA Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President. “Todd’s expertise will help further the AMA’s continued efforts to provide physicians with easy, digital access to the valuable information and services they need to help them best care for patients.”
