Donate to the AMA Foundation

Donate to help improve the health of our nation. 

The AMA Foundation Medical Student Ambassadors are a national group of medical school students who volunteer by serving as liaisons between the AMA Foundation and their medical schools and other medical groups.

Ambassadors learn about philanthropy by meeting and working closely with AMA Foundation Board members and staff.

Responsibilities and requirements

To be a Medical Student Ambassador you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in medical school.
  • Serve as an advocate and spokesperson for the AMA Foundation at your medical school, state and regional medical society meetings, and on social media.
  • Assist with fundraising campaigns by holding events at your medical school, distributing materials, and encouraging donations via social media.
  • Serve as an ambassador for a 1-year term.
