Here are some tips and answers to common questions.

I signed up for an alert and it never came (or stopped coming).  It may be your (or your provider's) spam filter. Many filters block mail from new addresses, or move it to a "quarantine" folder. You many need to add the alert to the senders your filter recognizes (see below). It is often helpful to check with your help desk or customer service department before contacting us.

What if I missed an alert?  The current week's alert is always available online. You can bookmark the one you prefer:

Why didn't you respond to my "confirm request" (or, call to get my new e-mail address)?  These e-mail alerts are sent automatically. We are not able to manually confirm individual messages or make personal calls to update account information. If we are unable to deliver alerts to the address you have supplied, we will remove your account.

Why isn't my spam filter's trust/confirm feature working?  Possibly because you gave it the address of a specific alert. Our alerts use message numbers as part of the address (a common way of keeping track of the newsletters, eliminating duplication, etc.). For the alerts to be recognized by your filter, you need to add the domain of the AMA's e-mail server -- enews.ama-assn.org -- to your address book or trust list.

If you have other problems or questions, please send the details directly to our tech staff.
