We are pleased to announce a new benefit for HCA Healthcare physicians. In recognition of important resources supporting our areas of physician focus and well-being, HCA Healthcare has pledged to join other leading health systems across the country in subscribing to the new AMA Health System Program. Under this program, the AMA will partner with our leadership to tailor new solutions to allow us to maximize our support for both our physicians and other care team members.

Our participation in the AMA Health Program will reinforce our ability to:
1. Enhance the well-being of our physicians by looking at changes we can make as a system to improve our processes and culture.
2. Utilize various AMA platforms to provide a national spotlight that creates more recognition for the amazing work you are leading.
3. Allow our physician leaders more direct access to be involved in AMA health care policy making, both from the perspective of our health system and also your individual interests as well as Member Interest Groups.
What does this mean for HCA Healthcare physicians?
As part of HCA Healthcare participation in the AMA Health System Program, we are pleased to announce that all HCA Healthcare physicians will receive individual AMA membership and benefits. Your individual membership to the AMA will be sponsored by HCA Healthcare at no cost to you.
If you have recently joined or renewed your AMA membership, your AMA dues will be refunded, and your membership will continue under the HCA Healthcare group membership program.
What’s next?
The AMA will activate our membership, and once complete, you will receive a Welcome email from the AMA in the coming weeks, providing access to your benefits and offering instructions on customizing your AMA experience. Please feel free to take as much or as little advantage of these benefits as you desire.
