• Register online for the AMA-YPS Interim Assembly Meeting. View a draft agenda (PDF, 155 KB).
• Send an e-mail to Jane Ascroft by Oct. 1 to volunteer for the AMA-YPS Reference, Handbook Review or Credentials Committee.
• View the leadership and teamwork workshop presented by the AMA-YPS at the 2008 Annual Assembly Meeting. This webcast, free to AMA members, will give viewers key insights on their roles as physician leaders.
• Read the AMA-YPS Digest of Actions from the 2008 Annual Meeting.
• A new formula for proportional representation to the AMA-YPS Assembly was approved by the AMA House of Delegates at the 2007 Interim Meeting. Beginning at the 2008 Annual Assembly Meeting, state medical societies and national specialty medical societies will be invited to certify two voting delegates (and no alternate delegates) per 1,000 AMA-YPS members. Learn more (PDF, 25KB) about this bylaws change.

About YPS
The AMA-YPS focuses on the concerns of physicians under the age of 40 or in their first eight years of practice following residency/fellowship.
