Elections will take place during the June meeting. Applications are due May 8. Apply and learn more about the election process.

Contribute to OMSS policymaking efforts by submitting a resolution for consideration at the 2024 OMSS Annual Meeting. The resolution submission deadline is April 30. Submit resolutions in the OMSS online member forum and direct any questions to [email protected].

New to the policy-making process? Access our education module, How AMA Policy is Made and learn how OMSS members influence the AMA’s policymaking efforts.

Visit the OMSS online member forum beginning March 1 to review and comment on policy proposals that will be discussed at the meeting. Items will be posted as they become available. The deadline to submit comments for consideration by the OMSS reference committee is May 21.

OMSS representatives are selected by their medical staff peers to represent the interests and concerns of their medical staffs. While all AMA members may attend OMSS meetings, only certified representatives are permitted to make motions, vote, etc. Become an OMSS representative by submitting the certification form today.
