The AMA Independent Practice Accelerator Course Series is a self-paced program on the AMA Ed Hub designed for physicians launching or growing an independent practice. Led by subject matter experts with firsthand experience guiding physicians to practice success, each course offers CME credit and lifetime access upon purchase.
An 11-course series organized into three topic areas that follow the physician’s path to independent practice:
· Strategic and Financial Foundation (3.5 CME)
Before opening your practice, master strategic planning, financing, payment models and payer contracting, and financial literacy.
· Operational and Legal Requirements (2.75 CME)
While preparing to open, learn legal and regulatory compliance, technology, medical equipment, and how to build your practice team.
· Skills for Maintaining a Healthy Practice (2.5 CME)
After opening your doors, enhance success with efficient workflows, marketing, and physician leadership.
Courses feature professionally produced video and include interactive exercises, knowledge checks, and downloadable tools.
Courses will be available on the AMA Ed Hub this winter. Subscribe to be notified when courses launch and when new activities are added to the series.
The American Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The AMA designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
