The AMA Foundation is dedicated to improving the health of all Americans by supporting community health and medical education programs.
Foundation Donor Erick Eiting, MD, is proud of the Foundation’s work for the LGBTQ community through its new fellowship program, which will be the first of its kind to train physicians to specifically address and treat the health care needs of the LGBTQ community.
Community health grants
Committed to fostering focused, measurable health improvements, Community Health Program Grants are offered for $40,000 to $60,000 annually, renewable for up to 3 years.
The grants are made possible in part by:
- The Missouri Honor Fund
- The International Medical Graduates Honor Fund
- The California/Ronald Bangasser Honor Fund
- The Kridel-Brown Fund
- The Dr. Linda B. Ford & Mr. R. Joe Dennis Fund
