The AMA Physician Entrepreneur Academy is a 13-week hybrid program that combines in-person and virtual learning.
· In-person workshops: Kickoff and finale at AMA Headquarters in Chicago
· Virtual sessions: Six biweekly modules with live online sessions on business model, regulation, privacy and AI, funding and pitch craft, and guidance from expert faculty and mentors.
· Pitches will be evaluated by a live selection panel of industry experts and physician founders with up to $1M prize pool.
· Deliberately small, curated cohort of 10–12 physician teams.
· Seats are limited and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Application cycle: Applications will open February 1, 2027, and close April 1, 2027.
