Program overview
Earn CME credit in the heart of Italy. Curated by the AMA and operated by AHI Travel, an AMA preferred provider, this innovative learning experience brings together education, well-being and travel in an inspiring international setting.
· Dates: Oct. 26 – Nov. 3, 2027
· Location: Umbria, Italy
· Format: In‑person. Limited to 28 travelers, including companions or guests. Physician participants will earn eight (8) hours of CME credit through four 2-hour sessions.
· CME: The AMA designates this live activity for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
· Topics: Participants will learn evidence-based strategies to address physician burnout, strengthen personal and professional well-being, and rediscover joy in medicine.
Program cost
CME course registration and travel costs are booked and sold separately.
· Travel program cost: Starting from $4,545 per person through AHI Travel, including $500 in available member savings when booked by May 29, 2027. Airfare sold separately.
· CME cost: $499 for four 2-hour sessions (total of 8 Credits), purchased through AMA.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to:
· 8 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program;
· 8 Self-Assessment points in the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery's (ABOHNS) Continuing Certification program;
· 8 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics' (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and
· 8 Lifelong Learning points in the American Board of Pathology's (ABPath) Continuing Certification program
· 8 Credit towards the CME Requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery's Continuous Certification program
