Meet your Utah state requirements

  • 40 CME credits per biennial licensure cycle, including at least 34 ACCME Category 1 credits.
  • Physicians who prescribe controlled substances must complete at least 3.5 hours of controlled substance prescribing CME, per licensing period, in classes approved by the Division.
  • Physicians must also complete at least 1 online suicide prevention training course from a list of approved activities provided by the Utah Department of Commerce Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL).
