AMA Ed Hub CME benefits

Meet your Georgia state requirements

  • 40 Board-approved CME credits biennially.
  • Physicians must complete a one-time training course of 3 or more AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ or AOAPRA Category 1 CME hours in controlled substance prescribing within their first renewal period following licensure.
  • Physicians who do not hold a certification in pain management or palliative medicine, and whose opioid pain management patients comprise 50% or more of the patient population, are to complete 20 CME hours pertaining to pain management or palliative medicine biennially.
  • All physicians have a one-time requirement to complete at least two hours of education and training regarding professional boundaries and physician sexual misconduct.
