What's New

  • More than 50 MSS chapters have organized National Service Project events (PDF, 33KB) in 2008, including many events during Cover the Uninsured Week, April 27 - May 3, 2008. If your chapter has planned an NSP event, please take a minute to let us know about it by completing the short NSP Event Registration form.

  • A draft agenda for the 2008 MSS Annual Meeting is now available. Visit the A-08 Web page to see the agenda and to learn more about the Meeting and how you can get involved.

  • The College Cost Reduction Act, signed into law on Sept. 27, 2007, changes the way by which medical residents become eligible for loan deferment. Learn more about these changes that further complicate the student debt burden for residents and act as yet another major disincentive for the best and brightest students to enter the medical profession.
