Siri Holton, MD, serves as the vice chair and Young Physician Section representative on the AMA Women Physicians Section Governing Council for the 2023-2024 term.
The WPS is a member interest group within the AMA for women physicians and medical students. The section governing council is responsible for increasing the membership, participation and leadership of women in the AMA as well as advocating on women’s health and women in medicine policy issues.
Dr. Holton is a practicing OB/GYN at ChristianaCare in Delaware, and provides full spectrum reproductive health care. She is also a contracted physician for Planned Parenthood of Delaware. As an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Dr. Holton serves as the AMA Young Physician Section liaison to the ACOG Junior Fellow College Advisory Council.
