Dr. James Burdick is a retired professor of surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and was on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Renal Coalition (Network 5), the Council of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and is a past president of the South-Eastern Organ Procurement Foundation.
The Senior Physicians Section (SPS), with nearly 53,000 members, is the largest senior physician group in the United States. AMA members 65 years of age and above can remain involved in their profession through the section activities.
