Dr. Schneidman was previously a delegate to the AMA House of Delegates from the APA, and has been a long-time champion for medical education, devoting her career to safeguarding the future of medical training and the physician workforce as a whole. She was previously associate vice president of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and vice president of the AMA Medical Education Group.
The Senior Physicians Section (SPS), with nearly 53,000 members, is the largest senior physician group in the United States. AMA members 65 years of age and above can remain involved in their profession through the section activities.
