The pandemic has revealed the need, now more than ever, for elevating physician voices. When it comes to medicine, the AMA believes physician voices should be the loudest in the room.

Innovative contracting for private practice physicians

This panel discussion will focus on the contracting considerations for new private practice physicians, as well as innovative contracting for established private practice physicians. Specific topics that will be addressed include recent trends in payer contracts, such as “value-based” contracts, cost and quality provisions and telehealth adoption. The panel will be moderated by an external legal expert and include two private practice physicians who will share their real-world experiences and strategic insights.

Visit the PPPS online member forum between Oct. 13-Oct. 26 to review and comment on policy proposals that will be discussed at the meeting. Items will be posted as they become available. The deadline to submit comments for consideration by the PPPS reference committee is Oct. 26.
