The pandemic has revealed the need, now more than ever, for elevating physician voices. When it comes to medicine, the AMA believes physician voices should be the loudest in the room.

Addressing racism in clinical settings and the next generation of URM physicians: Lived experiences, lessons learned, and strategies developed

A panel of experts will share examples of racism in clinical settings and how physicians and medical students might consider responding. The discussion will include topics such as institutional policies for staff and patients, best practices and coping techniques.

To review and comment on all policy resolutions and reports submitted to the House of Delegates (HOD), visit the HOD online forum after Oct. 1, 2021. Comments must be submitted as an "individual." Only elected MAS delegates (Luis Seija, MD and Michael Knight, MD) can submit comments on behalf of the section.
