Nikita Sood, a medical student at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, serves as the at-large officer of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2022-2023 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Ms. Sood has been an AMA member since 2019 serving in various leadership positions including region chair and alternate delegate for the Missouri State Medical Association.
