Baillie Bronner, a fourth-year medical student at University of New Mexico School of Medicine, has been elected vice chair of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2019-2020 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The Section Governing Council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Ms. Bronner has previously served as a member of the MSS Committee on Health Information Technology and as vice president of her medical school’s MSS group.
