Join us for a discussion with Anthony Fauci, MD, director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Disease, and James Madara, MD, AMA CEO and EVP, as they explore COVID-19 and what lies ahead for physicians and medical students. Following the interview, a panel of experts will discuss the AMA’s ongoing work in the areas of health equity, physician wellness and practice sustainability, medical education, advocacy and more.

Pride, politics, and policy: LGBTQ issues and the 2020 election From state legislatures to Congress to the White House, the 2020 election will determine the course of public policy for years to come. Join Cynthia Brown, vice president, AMA Government Affairs and Kai Sternstein, JD, vice president, AMA Advocacy Resource Center for a timely analysis of election outcomes and a look at what that means for key priorities including LGBTQ health and well-being. Discussion and Q&A will follow.
