National Managed Care Contract Database

The AMA National Managed Care Contract (NMCC) database helps physicians and their advocates to navigate the intricacies of managed care contracts. The database includes text from the managed care laws of all 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as federal requirements. Issue briefs on important managed care topics and AMA policies on specific managed care issues are also included.

Introduction to the NMCC Database

Physicians and their advocates can use the NMCC database to better evaluate and negotiate managed care contracts. It is regularly updated and easy to search. To learn more, watch a 5-minute introductory video or download the instructional guide, How to Use the National Managed Care Contract Database (PDF, members only).
