Join the American Medical Association (AMA) and Medical Society of Virginia (MSV), for a FREE med student summit on what you need to know as a medical student today, how you can prepare yourself for a successful future as a physician and insights that med school may not teach you.
As part of the Distinguish Yourself event series, this exclusive event for Virginia medical students will cover today’s burning topics, including:
- Navigating exams (including USMLE/COMLEX changes)
- Building a standout CV & passion paths
- Research opportunities
- Reducing burnout and increasing resiliency
- Distinguishing yourself for residency applications
The day will be comprised of lectures, panel discussions, mentor sessions and informal networking. The summit will run afternoon through evening. Hotel accommodations provided free of charge to MSV and AMA members.

Registration
The deadline to register was Sept. 28, 2022.
AMA and MSV membership is required for attendance, and the event is free for medical student attendees. Join both organizations today.

MSV will be providing hotel rooms for those students needing accommodations for the night of Saturday, Oct. 1.
