COVID-19 statement

Given the numerous travel restrictions, and the latest guidance to not hold gatherings of 10 people or more, we have decided to move the May 14-16 CPT® Editorial Panel to a virtual format.

This was not an easy decision, but we must put the well-being of all meeting participants first.  Additionally, we need to be sensitive to the availability of the physicians and qualified health care professionals who are on the front lines responding to this pandemic.

We will be posting more information in the coming days and weeks about the details of the virtual meeting.

Registration

Registration is open for the May 2020 virtual meeting. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Agenda

Times subject to change as agenda becomes final. Work group meetings will be posted to the website as they are scheduled.

May Panel Meeting FAQ

What do I do if I had already made hotel reservations for the onsite meeting?

All hotel reservations made using the AMA group rate have been canceled with the hotel.  If you haven’t received a cancellation notice, please contact Mark Levine at [email protected].

Will there be changes to the CPT Panel Meeting process?

The established, open and transparent Panel process will remain unchanged. Of course, accommodations will need to be made to adapt to a virtual environment. However, AMA staff and the Panel will work to maintain the integrity of the process throughout.

Do I need to register to attend the virtual meeting?

Yes, you need to register before the meeting.

How will I access the virtual meeting?

Information to access the virtual meeting will be sent out the week of May 11, 2020 via ReadyTalk.

If I am no longer able to participate in the virtual meeting, can I withdraw my application?

As an applicant, you always have the opportunity to withdraw your application prior to it being discussed by the Panel on the “floor.”
