Accelerating change in medical education. The AMA: Giving $10 million to U.S. medical schools.

Accelerating Change in Medical Education Conference

The AMA Accelerating Change in Medical Education Conference was held October 4 & 5, 2013, in Chicago.  The conference brought together nearly 200 leaders in medical education from across the nation to discuss innovations needed to bridge the gap between the training of medical students and the needs of our health care system.  It also gave attendees a chance to learn about the grant projects supported by the Accelerating Change in Medical Education initiative.  The AMA Foundation co-sponsored the event and received unrestricted educational grants from Pfizer Inc, Eli Lilly & Co., Genentech, Inc. and Purdue Pharma L.P. to support the conference.
