JAMA Clinical Challenge

JAMA Clinical Challenge puts an individual’s diagnostic skills to the test with real-world cases. The app presents clinical vignettes and images along with extra case information and users then choose a diagnosis.

Cynthia L. Beamer, MD, is a pediatric ER physician in Texas, practicing in San Antonio and El Paso. Her app idea enables an easy trade-off between physicians when their rounds are completed, promoting continuity of care for each patient.

Rounder

Rounder allows physicians to more easily keep track of their hospitalized patients’ progress. The app provides a data and capture point for information on hospital patients, including patient’s name, working diagnosis, allergies, medications, labs, daily assessments and discharge plans.
