The AMA has booked a block of rooms for Interim Meeting attendees at a special rate of $229.00 per night. This rate will be available until Monday, Oct. 6, or until the block of rooms is sold out. Make your reservation today!
Looking for a roommate to share the cost of a hotel room at I-08? Have extra space in your hotel room? Use the I-08 Housing Exchange Forum to communicate with other I-08 meeting attendees about sharing hotel rooms. (This link will take you off the AMA Web site.)
Airline information
The AMA has teamed up with United airlines to offer Interim Meeting attendees a special airfare discount. To book your reservations on-line and receive a 5 percent discount, simply go to www.united.com. Once you have linked to United.com
You can also call the United Meeting Desk at (800) 521-4041 to book your reservations and receive a 2-10 percent discount off applicable fares, including First Class. If you purchase your ticket at least 30 days prior to travel, you will receive an additional 5 percent discount. There are no fees for meeting attendees to book reservations with the Meeting Desk. Be sure to mention File # 500CQ to receive your discount.

Join your colleagues in a 5K Run/Walk!
Your AMA House of Delegates Speakers would like to invite you to join them for an early morning run or walk on Saturday, Nov. 8. We will likely depart about 6:00 a.m., although the time will depend on light and weather conditions. The Marriott has a 5K path around the golf course available for our use. More details to come.
AMA-MSS Research Poster Symposium
The 6th Annual AMA-MSS Research Poster Symposium will be held Friday, Nov. 7, at the Interim Meeting. Abstracts may be submitted in one of eight categories: biochemistry/cell biology, cancer biology, cardiology/vascular biology, clinical/epidemiological/health care, immunology/microbiology, neurobiology/neuroscience, radiology/imaging, or surgery.
