Register for "Health Care in Transition," Sept. 14 in Oklahoma City
Register now and view the agenda for "Health Care in Transition: A Look at Coming Trends in the New Delivery Systems," a special one-day event sponsored by the Health Professions Network (HPN), Sept. 14 in Oklahoma City.
During the event, a wide range of provocative and nationally known presenters will examine emerging trends as health care moves from a system of episodic care to population health management, resulting in new forms of medicine, treatment procedures, work force competencies and job duties. Presenters also will look at the potential parameters for the new work force (both physicians and non-physicians), along with projected shifts in the role of nursing. The day closes with a presentation and interactive discussions on evidence-based skill credentialing.
Presenters include representatives from the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Orthocare Innovations, Association of American Medical Colleges, Oklahoma City University and ACT Bridge, Inc.
Held at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, the event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The $99 registration ($39 for students) includes lunch and two breaks.
