Register today for next AMA-YPS meeting
Attend this year's AMA Young Physician Section (YPS) Interim Assembly Meeting, which will take place Nov. 14-16 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Md. The registration deadline is Nov. 4; log in to register today.
The meeting will take place prior to the AMA Interim Meeting.
Email the AMA-YPS to submit a resolution to the section or to volunteer for the section’s reference, handbook review or credentials committees. The AMA-YPS resolution deadline is Oct. 10.
Plan to join the Sept. 30 AMA-YPS “state of the section” call
Share your thoughts with the AMA-Young Physician Section (YPS) Governing Council during the next “state of the section” conference call to be held at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 30.
This conference call will provide an opportunity for assembly members to provide ideas and ask questions as the AMA-YPS Governing Council plans section activities for 2013-2014. Register by Sept. 29 to join the conference call.
Become a mentor for physicians in training
Encourage the next generation of physicians in career and leadership development through an online AMA mentorship program.
The AMA Mentorship Initiative pairs medical students, residents and fellows with physicians for a 12-month mentorship that is designed to foster career advancement and leadership development in organized medicine.
