Register to attend this year's AMA-SPS Assembly Meeting
Members of the AMA Senior Physicians Section (SPS) are invited to attend the AMA-SPS Assembly Meeting Nov. 16 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
Joseph P. Annis, MD, member of the AMA Board of Trustees, will deliver the keynote presentation titled, "Aging for docs—how to stay young, sharp and relevant despite the calendar: The new AMA Senior Physicians Section."
This year's assembly meeting also will include discussion of AMA House of Delegates business items and future AMA-SPS activities. All AMA members 65 years of age or older who are interested in senior physician issues are encouraged to attend. Registration (AMA login required) now is open.

You be the judge: AMA Research Symposium
The 11th annual AMA Research Symposium will be held Nov. 15 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Md. Consider participating in this national competition by judging the original work of some of the brightest medical students, residents and fellows in the country from 5 to 6 p.m. A reception will follow from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
