National Women's Health Week begins May 12

The 14th annual National Women's Health Week runs May 12–18 and is a weeklong health observance coordinated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Office on Women's Health.

The event brings together communities, businesses, government, health organizations and other groups in an effort to promote the importance of women's health. It also empowers women to make their health a priority and encourages them to take steps to improve their physical and mental health and lower their risks of certain diseases.

Visit National Women's Health Week Web page to learn more about the event and ways you can celebrate. HHS also provides resources to help women live healthy lives.
