Submit your voting ballot for AMA-IMGS Governing Council by May 7
Cast your vote now for the next AMA International Medical Graduates (IMG) Section Governing Council.
Six candidates are running for one of three vacancies plus one additional candidate for the resident/fellow position. AMA-IMG Section members must cast their vote for no more than three candidates plus one resident/fellow candidate by May 7.
A revised election ballot was sent to all AMA-IMG Section members due to a candidate withdrawing in this election. If you did not receive your revised election ballot, submit your request for a ballot.

AMA-IMGS business meeting and reception set for June 15
You are invited to attend the 16th business meeting and reception of the AMA-IMG Section at 5 p.m. June 15. Meeting attendees will hear a Washington update from Richard Deem, Senior Vice President of Advocacy, and Elizabeth Ingraham, Vice President of Communications, from the Educational Commission on Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), who will discuss the ECFMG Certificate Holders Office program and other updates.
IMG Section society representatives are invited to provide an organizational report. If you would like to submit an organizational report, email your report by May 24.
The deadline to register (login required) for this exciting event is June 3. Sessions are located at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
