AMA members: Register free for NMQF conference on disparities
Attend this year's Health Disparities Leadership Summit, which will take place April 22–23 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C. The National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) is hosting the summit meeting, now in its 10th year.
Conference registration is free for AMA members, and the AMA Minority Affairs Section encourages all AMA members to attend. AMA members can complete the NMQF registration form and submit the discount code MDCME-2013z.

April conference to cover research of disparities, disabilities
Join researchers, advocates and policymakers April 25–26 in Washington, D.C., for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) conference "Health Disparities Research at the Intersection of Race, Ethnicity, and Disability."
Attendees will learn about barriers to health care and health promotion for people with disabilities in underserved racial and ethnic groups, share research work on the intersection of racial and ethnic disparities and disabilities, and discuss priorities for future research and action.
The AHRQ, the Association of University Centers on Disabilities and the Special Hope Foundation are sponsoring the conference.
