Innovators share insights into payment models that support high-value care

An AMA webinar at 7 p.m. Eastern time April 2 will explore new payment models that reward high-value, team-based care rather than the volume of services provided. Register today to participate.

The fifth webinar in an ongoing series hosted by the AMA Innovators Committee, this webinar will take a look at new payment models that can sustain the delivery reforms discussed in previous webinars over the long term.

Physician innovators who implemented payment reforms that work will describe a variety of payment models, relate the pros and cons of each model, and speak to how accountability for cost and quality can be shared among stakeholders.

Future webinars will delve deeper into the mechanics of new payment models and how to customize a model to fit the physician's practice.

The first three webinars in the series are archived for on-demand viewing, and a recording of the fourth webinar will be available later this month. They cover such topics as providing team-based care to optimize practice workflow and increase value, improving care coordination without moving to an employment model, and boosting value by benchmarking.

Physicians can earn continuing medical education credit in the form of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ by participating in or viewing any of the webinars in this series. Registration is free for AMA members; nonmembers can sign up for $30. If you're not an AMA member, join today.
