IMG resident receives AMA Foundation leadership award

An AMA member international medical graduate (IMG)—Arsha Vahabzadeh, MD (left), a resident at Emory University School of Medicine—is among the four resident and fellow recipients of this year's Leadership Awards. The awards are presented by the AMA Foundation in association with Pfizer Inc. to early career physicians, residents and medical students who show exceptional leadership skills.
