Remember to vote in the IMG Governing Council election

Remember to vote in the IMG Governing Council election

Your vote is needed to help select candidates for the 2013-2016 International Medical Graduates (IMG) Governing Council.  A SurveyMonkey invitation/ballot was launched via email April 1.  Six candidates are running for one of three vacancies plus one additional candidate for the resident/fellow seat.

AMA-IMG Section members must cast their vote for no more than three candidates plus one resident/fellow candidate by April 22.

Get engaged with your AMA-IMG Section.  Your vote is important to help with the outcomes of the AMA-IMG Section business of medicine.  For more election information, visit the AMA-IMG Web page.

If you did not receive your election ballot, submit a request today.

Provide your comments on IMG Section resolutions April 15-19

AMA International Medical Graduates (IMG) Section members may provide comments on the resolutions being considered for the 16th Annual IMG Section Business Meeting from April 15–19. Final ratification of the resolutions is scheduled for April 23–30. AMA-IMG Section members will receive a SurveyMonkey invitation requesting them to provide their testimony during both periods.

This year, AMA-IMG Section members also will have the opportunity to provide comments at the AMA-IMG's virtual Web page. You must have an AMA account and login information. Your comments are important to formulate policy for the AMA-IMG Section. Send your questions to the AMA-IMG Section mailbox.
